Transparent background: the GIF keeps real transparency, with the hard edges that 1-bit GIF transparency gives. The WebM keeps transparency where the browser's video encoder supports it; where it does not, that export falls back to a white background and the result line tells you.

GIF renders at 20 frames per second and WebM at 30, at the size you pick, which keeps the file weight sane for marketplace uploads. WebM is the crisper option at the same settings. Two free exports per day on this connection; after that, an email unlocks unlimited exports for the rest of the day. Loading, previewing, and changing settings are always free.
